Through this program, candidates gain invaluable insights into the entrepreneurial journey, learning to assess, validate, and refine their business ideas. The focus is on building a solid foundation for a business that not only survives but thrives in today's dynamic market.

 

Participants will leave the program with a clear roadmap for launching their MVP/S, backed by the confidence and support needed to turn their entrepreneurial dreams into reality.

What Happens When You Fail To Plan?

At 30 June 2022 there were 2,569,900 actively trading businesses in the Australian economy.

In 2021-22 there was a 12.7% exit rate, or 305,085 deregistrations.

Without an MVP, a business may spend countless hours and money developing a product that may not meet the needs or desires of its target market.

Wasted time and resources:

An MVP allows a business to test its product in the market and receive valuable feedback from potential customers. Without this validation, the business may build a product that is not in demand.

Lack of customer validation:

Failing to develop an MVP can result in poor market fit, as the business may not have a clear understanding of their target audience and their needs.

Poor market fit:

Not having a clear understanding of the market and customer needs can significantly decrease the chances of success for a start-up business.

We Are Going To Learn, Develop and Build!

Specifically, we will LEARN several key strategies for analysing your entrepreneurial fit, your proposed market fit and your capacity for the journey ahead.   

 

Then we will use that insight to DEVELOP a Preliminary Business Case to reinforce the viability of your vision and frame it in a way that resonates with your proposed target market, team and stakeholders.   Finally, we will leverage your Business Case to BUILD your Launch Plan and get you ready to take the first real steps into your entrepreneurial future.

We will LEARN how important it is to reflect on our individual CAPACITY to take the journey required to turn our vision into reality.  

 

This is not just about our traits, skills or experience, it's also about holding up a (NO Bull- S**t) mirror to the environmental influences in our lives that will either support or challenge us on the road ahead.

We will begin to BUILD our Business Case (right off the bat) because our future investors are just as focused on the WHO, as they are on the WHAT and HOW. 

Reflect

Next, we will LEARN how to deep-dive into your small business vision, we will learn strategies for defining the customer pain points you are setting out to address, the target market that best suits your potential business model and the key features and benefits your products and or services will reflect in order to be competitive in a competitive market.

We will then BUILD the narrative "Pitch" that will begin to reinforce your objectives and communicate your vision to stakeholders important to your journey.

Articulate

Then, it's time to LEARN crucial strategies to rapidly evaluate the "fit" of your small business idea with strategic and micro-market segments within that market.   We also learn the power of identifying, refining and committing to certain customer "personas" that will be the focus of effort during launch and longer-term brand awareness campaigns.

We will then integrate data insights and relevant metrics to BUILD the KPIs needed to shape future promotional and marketing activities.

Evaluate

Now it's time to get serious,  your small business idea will take effort and expertise, some of which you may or may not have, or will simply be too busy to do yourself.  It's time to LEARN several key strategies for assessing the ideation of your small business including the process from a project cycle perspective, the who the what, the when and the how.

Our assessment will inform how to BUILD the start-up aspect and ultimately, the recipe for transitioning your minimum viable product or service from concept to tangible offering.

Conceptualise

By now we have LEARNED a great deal about ourselves, our vision, our future marketplace and what it takes to bring our vision to life.   It's time to LEARN several strategies that will take our progress and reach our future customers.   The strategies will include interpreting the insights we have gained and how to translate them into action.

Our focus here is to combine several of the previous outputs in order to BUILD our short-form marketing strategy s key component of achieving market traction prior to and post-launch.

Strategise

A great launch phase combines two critical factors, momentum and timing.   In this final phase, we LEARN how to evaluate both, how to measure success using a medium-term horizon & how to embed continuous improvement metrics.   These "tweaks" will be informed by customer experiences, and feedback enhancing your business credibility.

Our concluding activity is to finalise the business case we have been developing throughout the accelerator and BUILD a launch timeline with key actions taken from previous steps.

This initial module is designed to fast-track your journey towards a Minimal Viable Product (MVP). We'll focus on identifying core components of your business idea, streamlining them into a workable MVP framework, and establishing clear, actionable steps to rapidly bring your concept to market.
