With a robust foundation established in the ADF, I embarked on a transformative journey in 1999, commencing a 12-year tenure in humanitarian missions.

 

This period was pivotal in providing aid to those in dire need and shaping my unique approach to business risk and continuity. Confronting diverse challenges in environments ranging from war-torn areas to disaster-stricken zones, I honed skills invaluable in risk management and resilience.

As a seasoned risk practitioner, my experiences extend beyond the battlefield and disaster sites.

 

My expertise includes humanitarian response, local government involvement, pioneering online learning initiatives, entrepreneurial ventures, and fostering organisational innovation. This diverse background has ingrained in me a risk-conscious perspective integral to both my personal and professional life.
